In the summer of 2023 Kavya Chheda got the opportunity to research at Rainey’s lab under the Frankel Cardiovascular Center SURF program at University of Michigan. This blog documents her experience at a biomedical research focused lab, the life challenges of living on her own for the first time and exploring food at Ann Arbor.
Kavya was lived 19 years of her life in Ahmedabad, India and has moved to Huntingdon, Pennsylvania since last 2 years for undergraduate studies. She is a pre-med student studying Biophysics. She enjoys sketching, trying new food cuisines and traveling.
